Great Lakes First Baseman Nets MID Award Monday, July 21st , 2098 Felipe Delgado has been in a real groove lately. The 22-year-old Great Lakes Loons first baseman nabbed Midwest League Player of the Week honors today after beating up on opposing pitchers all last week. Delgado's hot streak featured 9 hits in 17 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs, 4 runs scored and a .529 average. Currently Delgado is batting .271 with 12 home runs, 41 RBIs and 29 runs scored. |
