Kuduk Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Cedar Rapids Wednesday, July 23rd , 2098 The hitting streak that Lansing third baseman Jon Kuduk had kept going for 25 games was ended today by the Cedar Rapids Kernels. Kuduk was stymied over 4 at-bats today, but the rest of his team picked him up, taking the 2-0 victory at Cooley Law School Stadium. "Hitting streaks come and go," Kuduk said. "It did put a little pressure on me. It's hard to be natural at the plate with something like that always in the back of your mind. If it had to end, I'm glad it was in a win." This season Kuduk has no home runs and a .285 batting average. |
