But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Great Lakes Loons rising star has won the Midwest League Reliever of the Year for 2111.
He captured the award on the strength of his 1.70 ERA over 58.1 innings. He also had 44 saves in 51 relief appearances, 59 strikeouts and only 15 walks.
He received 14 first place votes out of a possible 16. Ferrie Booij of the South Bend Cubs finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Seth Kaderly of the Great Lakes Loons finished third with 1 first place vote.
