Star of the Week Picked in MID Monday, August 25th , 2110 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Lake County's Mark DeHaven put up last week were the envy of the league, as DeHaven came away with Midwest League Player of the Week honors. He belted out 12 hits in 26 at-bats, 1 home run and 7 RBIs last week as he posted his .462 batting average. Thus far this year, DeHaven is hitting .249 with 9 home runs, 42 RBIs and 43 runs scored. |
