Midwest League Names Top Player Monday, September 1st , 2098 When Chris Kemper stepped into the batter's box, he meant business. His outstanding play this week has netted the Cedar Rapids center fielder the well-deserved Midwest League Player of the Week Award. Playing in 6 games he lashed out a .542 average with 13 hits, 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Thus far this year Kemper is hitting .281 with 10 home runs, 57 RBIs and 65 runs scored. |
