Romero's Hit Streak Reaches 25 Games Thursday, September 4th , 2098 Alex Romero went 1-for-2 in the 3-1 Quad Cities River Bandits victory over the Beloit Snappers at Harry C. Pohlman Field today. Romero declined to speak to reporters following the game. He extended his hitting streak to 25 games. Alex Romero grounded out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and walked in the 8th. In 125 games this season Romero has batted at a .331 pace with 167 hits and 9 home runs. |
