Leingang Fires 5-0 Shutout in Snappers Win Wednesday, September 4th , 2097 In a seemingly effortless performance, Mike Leingang of the Beloit Snappers shot down the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 5-0 on a 4-hit shutout. "Mike was just locating so well and using his pitches," Beloit manager Bill Zamora said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Leingang recorded 10 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Wisconsin manager Alex Quiroz said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him." Looking at his season stats, Leingang has won 5 and lost 17, collecting 166 strikeouts and 48 walks in 181.2 innings with a 3.81 ERA.
