Rowdy Players Suspended by League Saturday, July 1st, 2056 Ben Knighton of Lansing and Chase Goodson of Lake County were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Knighton will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Goodson was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This year Knighton has collected a .255 batting average to date with 80 hits in 314 at-bats, 33 RBIs, 7 home runs and scored 36 times. He has played in 78 games. This year Goodson has worked 42.1 innings with 50 strikeouts en route to a 3-2 record and a 6.80 ERA. |
