Cant Garners MID #1 Pitcher Award Thursday, May 1st , 2110 Matt Cant had an excellent April and has been rewarded with the Midwest League Pitcher of the Month Award. The Fort Wayne relief ace was one tough customer on the mound, constantly coming in and getting his club out of trouble or protecting a one-run or two-run lead. During the month, the TinCaps star had no saves in no save opportunities, a 1.91 ERA and 5 wins and 1 loss. In 47 innings Cant struck out 29 and gave up 40 hits and 6 walks. |
