Perry Wins SAL Player of the Week Prize Monday, June 11th , 2085 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Greensboro third baseman Chad Perry. He went on a rampage last week against SAL hurlers and rapped out 7 hits in 11 at-bats for a .636 average while hitting 3 home runs, driving in 4 runs and scoring 4 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the South Atlantic League Player of the Week trophy. Perry was honored today at a press conference. Hitting .241 to date, Perry has 7 home runs and 16 RBIs. He has played in 52 games. |
