SAL Honors Lexington Second Baseman Monday, June 26th , 2113 Pat Grant stepped up to the plate in a big way last week and today he took home the South Atlantic League Player of the Week honors. The Lexington second baseman ripped opposing pitchers for 10 hits in 18 at-bats and no home runs. He put together a sizzling .556 batting average as he knocked in 3 runs and scored 3 times. This season, Grant is swinging the bat at a .338 rate with 69 hits in 204 at-bats. To date he has hit 7 home runs, scored 34 runs and driven in 32. |
