Year Over for Drive Ure Friday, June 19th , 2111 When John Ure was hurt against the Hickory Crawdads, the Greenville Drive were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 26-year-old shortstop suffered a broken bone in the elbow running the bases in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Ure would miss 4-5 months of the season. For the year, Ure is batting .230 with 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
