Star of the Week Named in SAL Monday, June 30th , 2098 It was announced today by the South Atlantic League that Lexington first baseman Daniel Pinedo had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. During his week-long batting binge he reeled off a .611 batting average, 11 hits and 1 home run. Pinedo also racked up 3 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Batting .325 to date, Pinedo has 11 home runs and 45 RBIs. |
