Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Saturday, July 6th , 2109 Bob Hair of the Lexington Legends and Rafael Algniz of the Charleston RiverDogs received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 4 and 2 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. This year, Hair has hit at a .216 pace and produced 25 RBIs, 8 home runs and scored 34 runs. So far this season, Algniz has worked 37.2 innings in 13 relief appearances with 0 saves. He has dished out 39 strikeouts and walked 17 with a 0-0 mark and a 2.87 ERA. |
