SAL Player of the Week Goes to Ramos of Rome Monday, July 15th , 2109 Ricardo Ramos is respected by most Rome Braves fans for his no-frills style of play. The 23-year-old shortstop went about his business with vigor last week to grab the South Atlantic League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .464 average (13-for-28) with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 5 runs scored. So far in 2109 Ramos is batting .329 with 11 home runs, 46 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has 101 hits in 307 at-bats and a .383 OBP. |
