Cronin Stands Out in Delmarva Shutout Wednesday, June 19th , 2097 John Cronin handcuffed the West Virginia Power at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium today, coming away with a 6-hit, complete game shutout. "I had everything working for me out there," the Delmarva Shorebirds left-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted." With his stuff working, Cronin had little trouble with the Power and led the Shorebirds to victory, 11-0. He recorded 10 strikeouts and 2 walks in an impressive performance.
