South Atlantic League Picks Top Player Monday, August 22nd , 2112 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Columbia's Brandon Skogstad put up last week were the envy of the league, as Skogstad came away with South Atlantic League Player of the Week honors. He belted out 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs and 8 RBIs last week as he posted his .440 batting average. At present, Skogstad is batting .300 with 66 hits and 9 home runs. He has knocked in 27 runs and scored 19 times. |
