Charleston's Phillips Will Miss Season
Thursday, August 14th , 2110
Josh Phillips will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Charleston closer could miss the remainder of the year. Phillips was injured while throwing a pitch in the RiverDogs-Suns clash at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park recently. Doctors said he has a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 13 months.
This season, Phillips has 7 saves with a 4-3 mark and 4.37 ERA.
