SAL Player of the Week Named Monday, August 18th , 2098 The marquee name in the South Atlantic League this week is Ben Hunt of the Greenville Drive. The hot-hitting 24-year-old second baseman put up a .615 average and .655 on-base percentage, piling up 16 hits in 26 at-bats, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 8 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the SAL Player of the Week honors. To date Hunt has chalked up a .301 average with 2 home runs, driven in 20 runs and scored 38 times. |
