SAL Player of the Week Honored Monday, August 25th , 2110 Pitcher Juan Davila of the Columbia Fireflies was the top performer in the league last week and was chosen the SAL Player of the Week. During the week the 22-year-old Davila registered a 2-0 record with 13 strikeouts, 2 walks in 14.1 innings and a 0.63 ERA. To date this season, Davila sports a 6-4 mark with a 2.79 ERA in 18 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .240 batting average and has 112 strikeouts in 100 innings. |
