Casarrubias Punishes SAL Pitchers This Week Monday, September 1st , 2110 It was some kind of week for Sandy Casarrubias of the Kannapolis Intimidators. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .524 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the South Atlantic League. Last week Casarrubias went 11-for-21, chalked up 2 home runs and 6 RBIs and scored 7 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. Casarrubias is hitting .285 so far this season with 76 RBIs and 59 runs scored. He has 134 hits including 19 home runs, 51 walks and .359 OBP. |
