Hit Parade: Tegeler Pops 5 Hits Friday, May 2nd , 2098 B.J. Tegeler exploded for a barrage of base hits today at L.P. Frans Stadium. The Hickory center fielder had a field day in the 11-7 triumph over the Asheville Tourists, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Tegeler must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. B.J. Tegeler singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and singled in the 7th. In the 2098 season Tegeler is hitting .385 with 1 home run.
