Connecticut-Lowell Brawl, Grise and Sprinkle Suspended Sunday, July 14th , 2109 Chris Grise of the Connecticut Tigers and Ken Sprinkle of the Lowell Spinners will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Tigers-Spinners game at Edward A. LeLacheur Park. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Grise and Sprinkle will begin serving them soon. This season, Grise is hitting .286 with 22 hits, 3 home runs, 15 RBIs, scored 13 runs and played in 22 games. This year, Sprinkle has a 0-3 record and a 7.63 ERA. |
