Eubanks Torches Cyclones for 5 Hits Thursday, July 14th , 2112 Josh Eubanks exploded for a barrage of base hits at MCU Park. The Mahoning Valley right fielder had a field day in his team's 6-4 triumph over the Brooklyn Cyclones, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Eubanks must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Josh Eubanks singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Javy Sierra in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
