Mountain: Big Hit in the New York-Penn League Monday, August 10th , 2111 Pitchers who faced the West Virginia Black Bears last week were happy to see Pat Mountain in the rear-view mirror. The 20-year-old second baseman was dubbed the New York-Penn League Player of the Week for a 7-game tear that saw him hit at a .393 clip. For the week he also chalked up 11 hits in 28 at-bats, 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 9 runs scored. Currently Mountain has 6 home runs and a .295 batting average. |
