Star of the Week Honored in NYP Monday, August 4th , 2098 The New York-Penn League has selected its Player of the Week. The honor went to Kadir bin Afif, center fielder of the Hudson Valley Renegades. In a standout performance, he lit up the league with a .500 average to win the award. bin Afif went 10-for-20 for the week, totaled 2 home runs with 6 RBIs and scored 8 times. Thus far this year bin Afif is hitting .339 with 5 home runs, 19 RBIs and 24 runs scored. |
