Postseason Bid Ends for West Virginia Wednesday, September 4th , 2109 West Virginia Black Bears fans had stayed hopeful that their club could reach the postseason this year, but that possibility is now gone. The team has been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. West Virginia last appeared in the postseason in 2102. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 57 times in their 94-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Black Bears have missed the playoffs 8 times. West Virginia last won the Round 2 in 2101. |
