Year Over for Tigers Fleszar Monday, August 31st , 2111 Mike Fleszar will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Connecticut starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Fleszar was injured while throwing a pitch in the Tigers-Spinners clash at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium recently. Doctors said he has a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 7 months. This year, Fleszar has fanned 73 in 72 innings and collected a 3-3 record with a 2.88 ERA. |
