Crosscutters Come up Short of Playoffs Monday, September 7th , 2111 The playoff chase by the Williamsport Crosscutters has run out of steam. The club was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. "We came up short," manager B.J. Olenchuk said. This is the club's 6th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2105. In total, the Crosscutters have missed the playoffs 69 times in their 96-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Crosscutters have made the playoffs 3 times. Williamsport last won the Round 2 in 2105. |
