NYP Gives Best Pitcher Award Tuesday, October 8th , 2109 Devin DeVary of the Batavia Muckdogs is in the spotlight today. He was voted the top pitcher in the New York-Penn League and will be presented the 2109 Pitcher of the Year Award. He started 12 times and compiled a 6-3 record with an ERA of 1.32 in 95.1 innings with 83 strikeouts. He received 14 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Chase Louviere of the State College Spikes finished second in voting, while Jorge Reyes of the Hudson Valley Renegades finished third.
