Spikes Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Sunday, August 24th , 2098 The State College Spikes have run out of games to perform any sort of late-season miracle. As of today, they were mathematically out of playoff contention. The Spikes have made the playoffs 8 times in their 83 years as a New York-Penn League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 31st in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2067. State College last won the Round 2 in 2028. |
