The team was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. The Lake Monsters have made the playoffs 16 times in their 95 years as a New York-Penn League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2105. In the last 10 seasons, the Lake Monsters have made the playoffs 3 times.
