Aberdeen Secures Top Spot in McNamara Division Wednesday, September 3rd , 2110 Members of the Aberdeen Ironbirds proudly donned their McNamara Division championship apparel tonight, after winning the division for the 32nd time in franchise history. "We don't take an accomplishment like this for granted. There are some good teams in our division, so it means a lot to come out on top," said closer Mike Hindman. "We didn't know what sort of year it would take, but at 47-20, we're happy with the division title." The Ironbirds will be trying to bring the 9th New York-Penn League championship to Aberdeen. |
