Vermont-Hudson Valley Brawl, Lopez and Zangrilli Suspended Friday, September 5th , 2110 Robert Lopez of the Vermont Lake Monsters and Lance Zangrilli of the Hudson Valley Renegades will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Lake Monsters-Renegades game at Dutchess Stadium. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Lopez and Zangrilli will begin serving them soon. Thus far this year, Lopez has hit .211 with no home runs and 0 RBIs. This year, Zangrilli has gone 3-8 with an ERA of 4.22 and has 56 strikeouts in 98 innings. |
