Doubledays Come up Short of Playoffs Monday, September 8th , 2110 Auburn Doubledays fans can be excused for feeling a little grumpy today -- the club has been officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Doubledays have made the playoffs 13 times in their 95 years as a New York-Penn League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 22nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2088. |
