Mahoning Valley Headed to the Postseason Thursday, September 11th , 2110 The Mahoning Valley Scrappers say they look forward to opening some eyes in the New York-Penn League playoffs. "Teams may look past us as we didn't win our division, but we plan to turn it up and play our best come playoffs," said reliever Bill Spencer. With a 42-33 record, the Scrappers have clinched a wild card position in the New York-Penn League. Mahoning Valley will now be looking to win its 6th New York-Penn League championship. |
