Tri-City Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Wednesday, September 10th , 2098 Tri-City ValleyCats manager Alex Ordonez said his club came "agonizingly close" to making the playoffs. But close won't be good enough this year, as the ValleyCats have now been officially ousted from contention. Before this season, the ValleyCats had made the playoffs 3 times in a row. In the 83 years they have been a New York-Penn League franchise, they have made the playoffs 47 times. In the last 10 seasons, the ValleyCats have missed the playoffs 3 times. Tri-City last won the Round 2 in 2092. |
