Heitman Will Play Football Instead of Baseball Wednesday, November 5th , 2110 Staten Island multi-sport star Josh Heitman has decided to discontinue his baseball career and focus full-time on his football career. Despite his love of baseball, Heitman says he likes his prospects on the gridiron better than the diamond. "It was a tough decision, but I think this is the right one for me," said the Yankees starting pitcher. Heitman, considered to be a standout wide receiver, is projected as a late 1st or 2nd round pick in the upcoming NFL draft. |
