Dust Devils Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Friday, August 14th , 2111 The Tri-City Dust Devils never had much playoff hope this season anyway, but now it's official -- the team has been mathematically eliminated from the postseason. The Dust Devils have missed the playoffs 54 times in their 96 years as a Northwest League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2102. In the last 10 seasons, the Dust Devils have missed the playoffs 7 times.
