Free-for-All Costs Hill and Alonzo 4-Game Suspensions
Friday, August 14th , 2111
Bad blood could be brewing between the Angels and the Indians. In yesterday's contest at Oxnard Grounds, Los Angeles A (SS-A)'s Kevin Hill and Spokane's Josh Alonzo caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only Hill and Alonzo were ejected by the umpires.

Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 4 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses.

League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation.

For the season, Hill has produced 2 hits in 16 at-bats for a .125 average with no home runs and gotten on base at a .222 clip.

Taking a look at his season stats for 2111, Alonzo has made 19 relief appearances, recorded 2 saves and compiled a 4-2 won-lost mark with a 2.00 ERA. In pitching 27 innings, he has totaled 31 strikeouts and 12 walks.
