Hit Parade: Guillen Pops 5 Hits Monday, July 7th , 2110 A jubilant Miguel Guillen joined the postgame press conference at Gesa Stadium to offer some unusual words of encouragement -- for the Tri-City Dust Devils pitching staff he had just vanquished. "It may not have looked like it," said the Hillsboro Hops right fielder, "but I saw some awful good pitches today. If luck hadn't been on my side it might have turned out a lot different." That would not have been the conclusion of anyone who saw his dominant 5-for-5 hitting performance, which led to the 21-0 Hops win. "He made it look easy," said Justin Rand, manager of the Dust Devils. "We never figured out what to do with him. Obviously." Miguel Guillen grounded out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
