Kansas City (SS-A) Snaps Riojas Streak at 21 Wednesday, July 23rd , 2110 After 21 games, Chicago A (SS-A) center fielder Ricky Riojas saw his hitting streak end when he went hitless in 1 at-bat. However, the White Sox still managed to take the win, topping the Kansas City (SS-A) Royals, 3-2, at Ballpark of Jersey City. "It was a good run," Riojas said after the game. "It was bound to end at some point. I'm just glad we won the day it ended." So far in 2110 Riojas is batting .339 with 3 home runs, 23 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has 43 hits in 127 at-bats and a .391 OBP. |
