Canadians Vallejo and Angels Figueroa Suspended for Fight Saturday, August 29th , 2111 Jose Vallejo of Vancouver and David Figueroa of Los Angeles A (SS-A) were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Vallejo will have to miss 3 games for his part in the brawl, while Figueroa was given 7 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This season, Vallejo has hit 5 home runs and posted a .255 batting average. |
