Oakes Collects NWL Pitching Award Tuesday, September 1st , 2111 Jon Oakes will be bringing August's Northwest League Pitcher of the Month trophy home to Hillsboro. He excelled all month long as he kept opposing hitters guessing, reaching and hoping. Oakes started 6 games, going 5-1 with 35 strikeouts in 36.2 innings as he compiled his 2.45 ERA. On the season, Oakes has a 7-2 record with a 2.67 ERA. |
