Chicago A (SS-A) on Top of North Division Wednesday, September 11th , 2109 The owner of the Chicago A (SS-A) White Sox was front and center in the Chicago A (SS-A) White Sox clubhouse tonight. With the team having just clinched the North Division, the owner came down to personally congratulate his players on the honor. "I know how hard they work every day for us, so it's hats-off to them," he said. "I know many owners probably prefer to stay up away from things, but I'm happy to celebrate this with these guys." Starting Pitcher Austin Sylvestre said after the franchise's 34th division title, he hopes they soon give the team's owner much more to celebrate. "We want to bring a championship back to Chicago A (SS-A). The city and our fans deserve it," he said. A Round 3 win would be the team's 8th Northwest League championship. |
