Tegeler Earns NWL Player of the Week Monday, August 19th , 2097 B.J. Tegeler made quite a splash in the Northwest League this past week. The Spokane Indians center fielder drilled opposing pitchers for 12 hits in 24 at-bats to roll up a .500 batting average and the Northwest League Player of the Week Award. He also contributed no home runs, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. This year Tegeler has batted at a .483 pace with 42 hits, no home runs, 17 RBIs and scored 16 times. |
