NWL Star of the Week Chosen Monday, September 1st , 2110 Rick Reid has been in a real groove lately. The 22-year-old Milwaukee (SS-A) Brewers left fielder nabbed Northwest League Player of the Week honors today after beating up on opposing pitchers all last week. Reid's hot streak featured 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 4 home runs, 12 RBIs, 7 runs scored and a .435 average. This season, Reid is hitting .351 with 27 hits, 6 home runs, 18 RBIs, scored 11 runs and played in 21 games. |
