NWL Honors Morgan, Best Hitter in August Monday, September 1st , 2110 Josh Morgan is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Minnesota (SS-A) first baseman joined that select company when the Northwest League announced the results of August's voting. Morgan totaled 44 hits, 12 walks, 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and 18 runs scored last month to put together a .400 batting average and .459 on-base percentage. Morgan on the season is batting .366 with 12 home runs. His totals include 38 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has played in 66 games. |
