"There's so much pride in our room and on our roster, anything but a division title wouldn't have been acceptable," said second baseman Giacomino Pastorelli. "In the playoffs we'll just have to take it one day at a time and keep battling." The Reds this year have battled to a 43-27 mark, which is good for the club's 24th South Division title.
