Playoff Bound: Milwaukee (SS-A) Secures Wild Card Wednesday, September 10th , 2110 The Milwaukee (SS-A) Brewers are celebrating a trip to the postseason and say they plan to make the most of the opportunity. The team officially clinched a wild card berth today and center fielder Justin Cornell said they are "looking forward to making some noise" in the playoffs. "There's nothing better than postseason baseball," he said. "We hope to go on a deep run and give our fans in Milwaukee (SS-A) something to be excited about." For now, excitement is running high as the team's 41-34 record has clinched the playoff position and the team has a chance to win its 6th Northwest League championship. |
